The Toyota Vios has dominated Malaysia''s compact-sedan rental and ride-hail market for two decades. Locally assembled at UMW Toyota's plant in Bukit Raja, Selangor, it's the most-seen sedan on Malaysian roads after the Perodua Bezza.

Now in its 4th generation (AC100, 2023—), the Vios moved to Daihatsu's DNGA platform — sharing bones with the Yaris ATIV and Perodua's recent compacts. The result: lower running costs, a lighter kerb weight, and the same near-bulletproof reliability the badge is famous for.

The 1.5-litre Dynamic Force engine pairs with a CVT for class-leading fuel economy. Three trims are sold: E, G, and Premium Sport, all with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) ADAS as standard — pre-collision, lane-keep, and adaptive cruise.
